- Seven black and white photographs used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published September 18, 1976 with captions:
- "New Club - Prior to a recent outing, some of the members of the St. Thomas Van Club posed for a picture outside in front of a line of their vehicles. The club, which has been active for about four months and has 22 members, meets every other Sunday in Waterworks Park where members discuss problems or start out on runs." (1a)
- "Room to Stretch - Brian Sturgeon of 37 Southdale Road relaxes in his van. He has put in a shag rug, a small refrigerator, a swivel chair, and a stereo system." (1b)
- "Club T-Shirt - The popularity of vans has prompted the formation of the St. Thomas Van Club in recent months. Prior to a recent outing, Janet Wyse models a T-shirt with the club logo." (1c)
- "Cool Ceiling - Brian Muscat of 8 Smith Avenue looks over the ceiling of his van which his father painted on peg board. He has economically customized the van himself, using outdoor wood panelling for the walls and indoor-outdoor carpet on the floor. One of his main interests is fishing." (1d)
- "Side View - Lorrie Derrough looks out the mirror in the passenger side." (1e)
- "Porthole View - One popular feature of vans is porthole windows with one-way glass. Here Donna Smith and Dan Cameron are framed by a porthole installed by Dave Yeo in his van." (1f)
- "Display Plaques - Paul Sunderland, left, and Mike Roy, hold the awards they won in their categories in the obstacle course at a Van Canada meet at Mosport Park recently. Every club is affiliated with NAVA (North American Van Association)." (1g)
