- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published January 19, 1953 with caption: "Steve Butler, manager of the Brewers Retail Store on First avenue, examines the store's empty safe on Monday morning following discovery that it had been blown open by safecrackers and the contents stolen during the weekend. Although he could not say how much money was taken in the robbery, Mr. Butler said receipts from Saturday sales were left in the safe. They were gone on Monday morning." Photo by Stollery.
