- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published May 10, 1972 with caption: " The Port Stanley Chamber of Commerce held an awards night and dinner at the Stork Club in Port Stanley, Tuesday night, in honour of outstanding citizens of the lakeside village. Pictured here, accepting plaques are, second from left, Miss Irene McBride, accepting a plaque for her friend, Agnes M. Hepburn, an early school teacher and a historian in Port Stanley. Also accepting a plaque is Stanley Speers, reeve of Port Stanley, on behalf of Arthur J. MacDonald, a reeve and councillor in Port Stanley for 19 years. Presenting the awards are Gordon Hubbard (left) chairman of the board of directors of the Chamber of Commerce, and Garnet Speers (right), president of the Chamber of Commerce."
