- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published June 11, 1974 with caption:"Transport Escorted - About 18 Ontario Provincial Police officers were on hand Monday to escort a transport truck from the Borden's Ice Cream plant in Belmont. About 47 employees have been on the picket line since May 3. The company notified them they would be locked out the day before and since then they have walked the picket line. Reinforcements from the labour councils in St. Thomas and London were on hand Monday morning to help in the protest. Salaried employees were kept outside the area in the morning. Police assisted in getting the trucks inside in the afternoon. Provincial government intervention is expected, according to one of the union officials."
