- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published December 23, 1959 with caption:"Belmont Water Tower - This 135 feet tall water tower is being built for the Borden Company ice cream plant in Belmont. The tower stands in a 100 feet high base and the 35 feet tall tank will hold 100,000 gallons of water. It will hold water to feed the plant sprinkler system and for general plant purposes. The tower stands on seven acres of land recently purchased from Neil Huigenbos, a neighboring farmer. The land will also be used for sewage disposal purposes and elimiate the sewage from entering Kettle Creek. The new tower will be completed in the spring."
