- The surname is also spelled Dennis.
- Scope and Content
- Photograph shows the Denniss Homestead at lot 25, Concession 6, Yarmouth. The 200 acre farm was bought in 1891 by Henry Dennis (1852-1911) from Seth Zavitz. The house was built in the Quaker style and contained twelve rooms, including seven bedrooms. In 1948 the farm was operated by George Denniss and Sons. Included in the Sparta Sorosis Women's Institute Tweedsmuir History Book, Volume Two.
