- Photograph showing the brick home of John Minard on lot 16, Concession 6, ca. 1920. He also owned lot 17, Concession 5. John Minard (1823-1891) was married to Serena Adeline (1839-1912), who was born in New York State. Raised a Presbyterian, she became a Friend and an acknowledged minister in the Society. Included in the Sparta Sorosis Women's Institute Tweedsmuir History Book, Volume Two.
