- " First winner in the decorated boat class Sunday was this colorful boat entered by Gary Fuller, of R.R. 4, Aylmer. The pretty southern belles, dressed in bright full-length dresses, added much to the appeal." (8a)
- " The lovelies in this pleasure craft, owned by Eric Teeple. R.R. 5, Aylmer, helped catch the judges' eye during the parade of decorated pleasure boats." (8b)
