- Scope and Content
- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published July 6, 1955 with caption: " When Charles Haight, of Aylmer, felt this whopping 8-pound 2-ounce yellow pickerel tugging on the line Tuesday morning, he thought he had tied into a lake sturgeon. Mr. Haight caught the beauty inside the newly-reserved trolling area about two miles off Port Bruce harbor. The fish is the largest reported by Port Bruce anglers so far this season."
