Scope and Content: Two black and white photographs used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published April 26, 1971 with captions:; "Attend Elgin Baptist Assembly - Elgin County Baptists had the opportunity to meet with leading Baptist ministers from across Canada at the 112th Annual Assembly of Elgin Baptist Churches during the weekend. Some of the delegates gathered during a break in the program in the office of Rev. L.V. Hultgren, pastor of Centre Street Baptist Church, which hosted the assembly, for a picture. Shown, left to right, are Rev. Hultgren (seated), Rev. Charles Burtch, moderator; Mrs. A. Cummings, clerk-treasurer of the Elgin Assembly; Rev. Archie Goldie, secretary of the Department of Canadian Missions of the Baptist Convention; and Rev. Maurice Boillat, general secretary of the Union of French Baptists churches in Canada."
