- Photograph showing the property of lot 18, Concession 2, Yarmouth township. A large house was on this property until 1900 when a fire destroyed it. The house had twenty rooms, including ten bedrooms for family and guests. It was owned by Barnabas Lewis, who came from White Hall, New York about 1828. His son Asabel Lewis was editor of "The Liberal" newspaper in St. Thomas.
