History / Biographical: Under the direction of chairman Bill Main and Treasurer Elgin Wells, the Finance Committee of the Local Committee for the 1985 International Plowing Match and Farm Machinery Show was responsible for the administration and accounting of all funds received and disbursed at the International Plowing Match and Farm Machinery Show held September 17-21, 1985 in the vicinity of St. Thomas, Ontario. The Finance Committee was also responsible for the activities of the Gates and Tickets Sub-Committee and the Funding Sub-Committee.

Scope and Content: Series consists of records created, collected and maintained by the Finance Committee of the Local Committee for the 1985 International Plowing Match and Farm Machinery Show. Series includes minutes, correspondence, financial statements, budgets and ledgers.
