- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published May 3, 1973 with caption:"Service Clubs Sign - Shown here is one of the four new signs erected at each entrance to Aylmer, on which local service clubs may place their official crests. The signs, put up and maintained by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and Communication, were erected in a joint effort by four Aylmer Clubs, the Rotary, Kinsmen and Optimists and the Colonel Talbot Branch 81 of the Royal Canadian Legion. So far only one club, the Legion, has attached its crest to the signs, but the others are expected to follow soon".
