- Scope and Content
- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published April 14, 1961 with caption:"Building Project - A new storage building is beginning to take shape at the St. Thomas Beaver Lumber Yard. The new structure 72 feet by 110 feet is replacing the old building that was completely destroyed by fire in June, 1960. The storage sheds which are now attached to the right of the store will be torn down later this year to make way for more parking space. The project is expected to be finished early in June. Shown in the above photo from left to right are Albert Yockell, superintendant for Beaver Lumber, from Welland and John A. Barr manager of the local yard, looking over the plans while men are working on the building in the background".
