- " This is the home of the new ideal equipment which on Sunday will begin the automatic connection of all local telephone calls. The new bell telephone exchange building on Southwick Street also contains the long distance switchboards and offices." (5a)
- " The power control panel for the electric current which operates the dial equipment in the new Southwick street exchange building is examined here by Don Kennedy, Bell Telephone central office man." (5b)
- " The operation of the new long distance switchboard in the Bell Telephone's dial exchange building on Southwick street is quite a bit different from that of the old one.
