- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published August 18, 1980 with caption: "Featured Guests - Hermann Duerr, third from left, and his Fan Farenband from Linkenheim-Hochstetten, West Germany, were featured performers at the 25th anniversary celebrations for the German-Canadian Club of St. Thomas held Sunday. Welcoming Mr. Duerr and the band to the local club was president Bernhard Popp, while looking on are past presidents Paul Schleusner (1970-75), Joe Ebner (1976-70), Hans Mueller (1955-63) and William Koerner (1963-66).".
