- "Friendship Club Float - One of Aylmer's ethnic groups, the Transylvanian Saxons, manned this float sponsored by the Canadian Friendship Club of Aylmer ".
- "Decorated Bicycles - Aylmer youngsters spent many hours decorating their bicycles for Saturday's Centennial Day Parade. This picture shows a few of the youngsters as they ride their gay machines along Talbot Street.".
- "Confederation Float - The Aylmer Fair Board float was manned by members dressed as the Fathers of Confederation and the children in pioneer costume.".
- "Color Party - Col. Talbot Branch 81 of the Royal Canadian Legion provided the color party followed by the Aylmer Band.".
- "Best Centennial Beard - Dong Brooks of R. R. 2, Springfield was awarded first prize in the Centennial Beard Conest sponsored by Aylmer Kinsmen Club. Harold Tuthill presented him with his prize at the Centennial Ball in the arena Saturday night.".
