- Two black and white photographs used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published November 29, 1971 with captions:
- " The majorette that drew more than her share of attention was this cute little miss, leading the Dorothy Galloway Twirlettes at Saturday's Santa Claus Parade in Aylmer. More than 35 entries made this year's parade a successful one." (6a)
- " Kinsman Jim Kennedy doesn't usually walk along main street in a clown's attire... only during the annual Santa Claus parade in Aylmer. The youngsters didn't mind a bit, as seen here. From left to right, are Mr. Kennedy, Sheila James, 5, and Brenda Watson, 7, all of Aylmer. Held Saturday afternoon, this year's Santa Claus parade drew hundreds from the district, as well as most of the town's residents." (6b)
