- 91st Battalion Departing from the Michigan Central Railway Station, St. Thomas, June 25, 1916, enroute to Halifax, Nova Scotia for deployment in Europe as part of the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War. View is from the south side of the station, looking southeast. The MCR Shops complex (built 1913, now the Elgin County Railway Museum) and the station coal dock are visible in the background.
