- This photograph shows "Main Street" (Sunset Road), looking north, near the intersection with Talbot Line, in 1952. The Wayside Inn would be just off to the right, near where the bus is parked in front (the Wayside restaurant was used as a Greyhound bus terminal and pick-up location for many years).
This photograph was published in The St. Thomas Times-Journal on August 1, 1952, celebrating the centennial of the formation of Elgin County.
