Caption from St. Thomas Times-Journal: "Retired Locomotive Engineers Honored: Men with long memberships in the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and who have retired from active work on the railway were honored at the annual banquet of Division No. 132 in the Masonic auditorium Monday evening. THe above picture shows four of these men being presented with gifts by William Parker, assistant master mechanic of the New York Central Railway. Left to right are shown: Mr. Parker, Joseph Underhill (N.Y.C.), W. H. Jolliffe (N.Y.C.), Peter McCurdy (N.Y.C.) and W. A. Pickell (Wabash). Not present for the occasion were L. J. Annette (N.Y.C.), James Clark (Wabash) and J. McNeil (N.Y.C.)."

Caption from St. Thomas Times-Journal: "Sixtry-Year Members of Division No. 132 Get Together: A most unusual gathering of retired locomotive engineers and brotherhood officials gathered on Friday afternoon at the home of William Clark, 37 Chestnut street, to present the latter with his 60-year button symbolic of 60 years' membership in Division No. 132, Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Mr. Clark, who retired some years ago, had 48 years' service with the Canada Division of the New York Central System (Michigan Central Railroad). A number of 60-year members were incldued in the gathering.
Mel Watson, chief enginner of No. 132, made the presentation in the presence of about a dozen members. David Meadows, retired assistant master-mechanic of the M.C.R., was in attendance. he had a record of 50 years before retiring. Another 60-year brotherhood member present was George Johnson while Daniel R. McBain, of Cleveland, Ohio, former general manager of the lines west, for the New York Central, was not present. He is another 60-year veteran.
