County of Elgin By-law #12, relating to the London and Port Stanley Railway: The by-law was authorizing the Council to raise the sum of 20,000 pounds and interest payable within thirty years, to be applied in taking stock in the London and Port Stanley Railway Company. Passed 26th January, 1854 (photocopy).
