Scope and Content
London & Port Stanley Railway- Standard L & PS Railway passenger train. Coaches on the No. 12 Type are 72 foot, all steel, 500 horsepower motor cars, equipped general passenger smoking and express baggage compartments. They are finished in inlaid mahogony and Pullman plush, and are electrically heated and ventilated.

Medium brown cardstock cover of a book let held together by an olive green card. at the top it reads "The London and Port Stanley Railway Examination, on The Rules of the Operating Department followed by Name....Occupation...." with three vertical columns, headed as "Examination on Trainmen's Rules Commenced" with blank dotted lines for the Examiner to fill out. The bottom of the cover says "Corrected to Feb. 1922". The book is filled with blank questions and spaces for answers.

Medium brown cardstock cover of a booklet held together by an olive green card. The top reads "The London and Port Stanley Railway, Examination on the Rules of The Operating Department", followed by "Name - W. Boucher, Occupation - Trainman & Motorman" followed by three vertical columns, filled out "Examination on Trainman's Rules Commenced - 7/31/44, Finished 7/31/44 - J.E. Boyce, Examiner/Dec. 14, 1959 - Examination Conductors Rules Commenced, finished Dec 14, 1959 Robertson Examiner/Nov. 16, 1944 Examination on Motorman's Rules Commenced Nov. 22m 1944 Finished - Aucad (sic) Examiner". Inside the booklet are two letters, "Form 101, London and Port Stanley Railway". The first one is dated "November, 24th, 1959 from T.R. Robertson Traffic Manager requesting instruction to be given to William Boucher in duties of Freight and Express Conductor". Approval was given by two conductors - Nov. 26 1959 and "Dec. 3 1959". The second later is dated "June 17th, 1958 - From J.E. Boyce Trainmaster to instruct W. Yeo in the duties of Express and Freight Motorman". Approval was signed by four motormen on "Aug. 29, 1958", "Oct. 2, 1958", "Nov. 27, 1961" and "Nov. 28, 1961".
